4. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

  • Organizing and managing competitions
  • Recording, publishing and permanently archiving competition results in the LiftLog service

5. Data Content of the Register

The register may contain for example:

  • Name
  • Birth date / age group
  • Gender
  • Club / organization
  • Weight class
  • Competition results

6. Sources of Data

  • Information provided by competitors during registration
  • Information added by the competition organizer

7. Regular Disclosure of Data

  • Competition results are published publicly in the LiftLog service. Competition organizers, sports clubs, federations, media organizations and other parties may also publish competition results in their own services and communication channels. When publishing results, LiftLog must always be identified as the source and a direct link to the results of the relevant competition in the LiftLog service must be included.
  • Other personal data will not be disclosed to third parties without the data subject's consent or a legal obligation.

8. Transfer of Data Outside EU/EEA

Data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA.

9. Data Retention

  • Competition results are stored permanently for archival purposes.
  • Contact information is deleted when it is no longer needed for organizing the competition.

10. Rights of the Data Subject

  • Right to access their own data
  • Request correction or deletion of data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation
  • Object to the processing of data in certain situations
  • File a complaint with the competent data protection authority

11. Data Protection

  • Data is stored in protected systems accessible only to authorized persons.
